Silly Goose Roasters is a small-batch specialty coffee company based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, founded in 2025 by husband-and-wife team Ignacio and Paulette. We roast coffee to order and build the brand around a flock of five goose personas, each with its own roast and backstory. Real coffee, ridiculous geese — both completely sincere.

Yes. Every batch is roasted to order in small lots and shipped soon after roasting, so you get coffee near its peak instead of beans that have been sitting on a warehouse shelf. Roast-to-order is the whole point.

Plenty. We carry single-origin coffees from farms and cooperatives around the world, house and regional blends, flavored roasts, decaf and low-caffeine options, mushroom coffee, cold brew, single-serve pods, and instant — plus a full loose-leaf tea collection. Most coffees come as whole bean or ground.

We do. Pip, our decaf-loving goose, headlines a lineup that includes single-origin decaf and lower-caffeine blends — all the flavor, far less caffeine.

Whole bean stays fresher longer and gives you the best flavor if you own a grinder. Choose ground if you'd rather skip that step — just match the grind to your brew method when you order. Either way, it's roasted fresh for you.

Keep your beans in an airtight container, away from light, heat, and moisture — a cool, dark cupboard is ideal. Skip the fridge and freezer for everyday storage, since moisture and odors work against the coffee. For the best cup, buy what you'll drink within a few weeks.

Fair question. Silly Goose Roasters is run — officially — by a flock of five opinionated geese: Gerald, Morton, Bro Joe, Maple, and Pip. Each has its own roast, personality, and illustrated origin story (the Goose Gospels). The coffee is serious. The geese are absolutely not.
